Design & Build
MTD takes a team approach to design and build. Our designers,
toolmakers, and moldmakers work together through all phases of
design, build and debug. Projects are coordinated to ensure that
each plastic and metal component meet the requirements.
Midwest Tool & Die manufactures spare tooling for dies and molds as a value-added service.
Our spare tooling is made with the same care and precision as the original die and mold.
Quality Assurance performs first article inspection for new tool build and spare tooling.
For production runs, QA performs the Production Part Approval Process and continuously
monitors production. Machine vision and sensors automatically monitor critical part
dimensions of each part during production.
